Sanae loved her Yuzu Shio delight We both enjoyed the crispy Brussels Our server, Melvin was nice My (pictured) vegan ramen was too spicy despite requesting no chili and no spice and confirming that it's possible. They took it back and I'm having the promotional vegan tapas instead. The gyoza and taco have whatever meat flavor they're "supposed" to taste like, which I am not a fan of, but the Brussels are literally perfect. I'm happy eating just that. We believe that they truly forgot to not put in the chili oil but the chef said it was the miso element and preferred that I try the first in the vegan list, so be careful I guess - or don't be alarmed. Let me know if you tried it and it was not spicy Music is not too loud which is refreshing! Bulb lighting is nice and warm but the overhead lights are too much in my opinion.

I had started to feel a little worn out from travel when I decided to try JINYA because I figured a good bowl of soup would do me some good. What I didn't expect was how incredibly tasty and well cooked the food here would be. I didn't have high expectations but my bowl of Yuzu Shio Delight ramen was some of the most delicious ramen I've had in a while! The ponzu and shio was such a unique combination - one I've never had before. The citrus put a nice twist on your classic shio broth. I highly recommend trying this menu item just because it is so unique. I added a side of fried chicken karaage and house salad since I was hungry and overall, I felt like the meal was such a good value for what I got. Service was also very nice and the food came fast with the broth hot and the noodles cooked al dente which was absolutely perfect. Has a great vibe for solo diners or a quick lunch with a friend. Well done JINYA!

Jinya Ramen Bar is my go-to for a reason! Their spicy creamy vegan ramen is absolutely delicious--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The edamame is always on point too. The service is friendly and quick, and the cozy atmosphere makes it feel like a little escape. I always leave satisfied!

I'm glad I finally got to try Jinya! The one in Long Beach is always so packed. I came in for lunch and it was moderately busy. I was seated right away at the window seat. The service was friendly and attentive. I got the premium red tonkatsu level 6 spice. It was good! The egg was cooked perfectly. My pork was a little fatty. But the noodles were perfect! I have had broths that had deeper flavors, but this was a solid choice. I would definitely recommend this spot! It's a great casual restaurant. You can sit at the bar, at a window seat, or at a regular table.

This dimly lit ramen bar exceeded my expectations. It's located downtown, tucked beneath soaring concrete office buildings. Twinkle lights strung up above the bar and soft club music actually suit the vibe. Love the many add-ons offered with their ramen dishes so you can truly customize your bowl. The server was helpful and suggested adjusting the spice level of any of the "spicy" dishes which really helped me determine what to order. The tofu was bland, sure, as others have mentioned but it was soft and silky and blended right into the dish. The crispy onions and soft spinach juxtaposed nicely. The "thick" noodles weren't too thick and they were cooked perfectly. Definitely add an egg. Mochi was less than $4.00...and absolutely delicious. Great little spot to try especially if you're staying downtown on a budget.

My cousin was visiting from outta town & she wanted ramen. So I looked this place up while touring the grove. I'm so happy we stopped by. It wasn't hard to find, it was a few blocks away from the museum so we walked there. I'm not sure about parking if you were to drive. The food was really good, we left satisfied. Some of the sushi rolls I wanted to try were out of stock.. so I have a reason to come back Lol I really like how the sodas come in the cans, I personally feel like it makes the soda better lol Service was fast, the server was really nice, the restaurant was really chill and fit the aesthetic.

This is a great spot for a quick, filling lunch. The staff is quick getting the food out and the restaurant is very clean. I had the spicy creamy shrimp tempura and the chicken wonton ramen. The shrimp tempura was delicious! The shrimp were all a pretty big (they don't skimp here!) and the sauce was creamy with a little bit of a kick. The broth for the chicken wonton ramen was a really rich chicken broth that had almost a creamy texture. The noodles were delicious and had a really satisfying slightly chewy bite to them. Overall, stop here for a quick lunch that's sure to leave you satisfied and won't make your pocket hurt.

Was invited back for another dining experience. Sooooo much better. For my drink, I tried the lycheetini. Fruity but strong! I would definitely get this again. For my appetizer, I tried the pork gyoza and ended up sticking with the Tonkatsu Black for my main. This time around, the ramen was bursting with flavor and the pork chashu and egg were marinated very well. No disappontments! The pork gyoza was the star of the show Thank you to Justin and Bill for making things right. Customer service 5/5 Definitely a solid ramen spot to check out in DTLA
